True, but I believe that adding the verified check for everyone that pays will increase that issue.
PS: I would gladly pay $8 to have animated profile pics and banners, or more customization in general. Do to Twitter what you did to cars and it should be easy 👍📈

If verified accounts violate terms of service, eg spam/scam/impersonation, they’ll be suspended, but Twitter will keep their money!
We will definitely add cool stuff like what you’re suggesting to Twitter Blue.
