SR-71 dates back to the A-12 w/first flight in 1963.. nearly 60 years ago.I would love to say 'imagine what we have now', but w/only 3 prime defense contractors I am nervous we don't have right ingredients: competition + fear of failure to drive affordable innovation & disruption
