AI5 Is the Platform Chip
Tesla is nearing tape-out of its AI5 inference chip— meaning the design is being finalized and sent to the fab for production.
AI5 is expected to reach volume availability in early 2027, with initial silicon (engineering samples, early builds, etc.)
