One can't call it Amor Fati, but this sort of joyful fatalism really isn't found in any other culture. Its closest approximation might be the Japanese love of death

Our “knowledge” of Norse mythology mostly comes from Snorri, a Christian who lived a few centuries after the Nordic region converted to Christianity. Should be taken with a grain of salt.
