If you have autonav enabled, car will automatically navigate either to address in calendar, to work if you’re home & to home if at work. Not sure if that’s in wide release yet, but def in early access. It’s an awesome feature.

Many roofs in Brentwood and in the suburbs are made out of shake wood shingles — which are also used for kindling when building a fire! 🤦🏻♂️
This is how they look after 20 years or so... warped from baking in the sun.

Storm watch here in Southern California and I’m not all worried. The @Tesla powerwalls automatically put themselves into storm watch mode to save power. We live in the future folks.

Has @elonmusk discussed fire resistance as a selling point to a Tesla roof? I imagine glass tiles are far more resistant to embers than traditional shingles.

Very true. Glass doesn’t burn & melting point is extremely high, so much more resilient than asphalt or wood roofs.

I had to get an oil change for my other car this week, and it felt profoundly…wrong. 😐 It’s amazing how sudden the shift toward “#EV normalcy” happens. One-pedal driving. No stops at a gas station. Virtually no maintenance. It’s jarring driving an ICE car now. @elonmusk

So true. Imagine if phones were gasoline powered. Total sales would be like 14 units worldwide! Using oil/gas & being forced to constantly visit toxic chemical dispensing stations will seem so insane in the future!

Homes with solar sell for 4.1% more, according to Zillow. Adding a Powerwall battery is highly likely to increase home value too imo, as security against blackouts is increasingly important.
