A car propelled by combustion is far more likely to combust than an electric car

That's what I thought. Comparing the Tesla to combustion vehicles in safety is a little apples to oranges.

How much of a factor is not having a motor in the hood?

Helps improve forward crumple zone length, especially important in high speed frontal impacts, and moments of inertia in side impacts

Both these cars got a 5 star rating in the side pole test. I would rather be driving the @Tesla #Model3 (pictures from NHTSA)

Exactly, all 5 star are *not* the same, as the videos show. “5 star” just means a car met a certain threshold, but injury probability stats (real numbers) tell you by how much.

Shout out to @Tesla and @elonmusk for the fantastic mobile service to fix the alignment of the hood on my #model3. The problem was the fault of a certified third party shop and not Tesla but they made it right. #teslamodel3
