nasa is probably the biggest CUSTOMER along with the NRO. Probably followed by Iridium depends if you split Commercial resupply missions and NASA exploration missions apart. Yes US rocket technology must be done inside US. For national security reasons.

This chart only shows globally competed commercial launches, not US government missions. “Other US” refers to Boeing & Lockheed. Their skill at obtaining govt contracts & subsidies vastly exceeds ours.

He mentions the tires. Michelins are grippy but he says he wants more. Could wider tires help rather than the 235 square setup on P3D?

Definitely. We gave up some grip & width in exchange for range. Would recommend stickier tires & wider on rear for best performance. You might get 3.3 sec 0-60 mph or better with optimized rims & tires.

As this well-written article suggests, my words were spoken in anger after Mr. Unsworth said several untruths & suggested I engage in a sexual act with the mini-sub, which had been built as an act of kindness & according to specifications from the dive team leader.

That said, I do not actually see the checks (changed that policy today). A nominal annual amount goes out automatically to both parties to maintain dialogue. I have given vastly more to humanitarian causes.

If @elonmusk is truly a conservative, (even though there was almost an even split in donations to Dems/Reps) then I say we should have more progressive people like him representing Republicans. Moreso, his affiliation is none of my business.
