I spent a few hours with Elon at his home recently.
Several of his kids were there.
They were thrilled to see him and rushed to him when he arrived.
There was kids’ stuff everywhere - toys, tiny chairs, a tiny table.
It was clearly the kids’ world. Elon was just in it.

The shift away from phonics is deeply bizarre. Phonetic, alphabet-based writing systems are universal in a way pictographic systems are not. To take an alphabetic language and teach it as a pictographic language is as backwards as it gets.
