Our internal assessment is that Grok 4.5 is roughly comparable to Opus 4.7, but much faster. The combination of capability, faster speed and lower cost is what makes it competitive.
We are closing the loop on real-world usefulness, not benchmarks. Hardcore engineers at Tesla & SpaceX find Grok 4.5 genuinely useful, which is what actually matters.

We will continue to make refinements to the Grok Build harness and the 1.5T foundation model almost every day in response to user requests.
The 2T model will finish training this month and be available to customers next month.

With full autonomy and maximized ride-hailing, Cybercab is projected to nearly halve emissions per mile compared to Model 3 + Model Y
Also, a personal car sits parked ~95% of the time. Cybercab keeps driving, doing the work of several cars. This means fewer cars needed, more people moved, less emissions overall

With just one year in orbit, the first FireSat satellite has already spotted wildfires invisible to existing satellites. After a successful launch early this morning, 3 more satellites joined the constellation, bringing us one step closer to our ultimate goal of near real-time wildfire updates every 20 minutes.

Grok 4.5 today, probably in the next few hours, Elon describes it as Opus level but cheaper. GPT-5.6 tomorrow. Gemini 3.5 Pro next week. The Seedance 2.5 video model, which looks world class, is arriving in the next few days as well. Intense release window.
