Looks like we will probably catch the ship with the tower in a few months. If there had been a tower out to sea where we practiced landing the ship, it would have been caught.
First reflight of the ship will be either end of this year or early next. That will be a fork in the road of history for consciousness reaching the stars.
Dustin@r0ck3t23· Aug 20, 2026Elon Musk admitted he is not sure this one is possible.
Musk: “This absorbs more of my mental energy than probably any other single thing. But it is so preposterously difficult that there are times where I wonder whether we can actually do this.”
He does not talk like this.

Any person who thinks it is fair for biological males to compete against women in physical sports is an idiot.
There's a reason why it only goes one way; biological women never transition and excel in men’s sports.
Men have:
- More testosterone
- More muscle mass
- Less body fat
- Larger heart and lungs
- Greater bone density
- More red blood cells (absorbing oxygen)
PS - Even chess is segregated, because our brains are wired differently too.

Grok Bot is the first AI agent system I’ve used right out of the box with zero coding experience.
I now have an assistant, researcher, writer, clipper, and accountant running 24/7 from the cloud.
Trained them on my X archive and they’re already automating work for me.
How are you all using yours?
Best use cases so far?

Try Grok @Bot and Build
Yu-kai Chou@yukaichou· Aug 20, 2026I’ve started to try @bot Grok Bot and it’s awesome! It cleaned up all my 150,000 junk emails and unsubscribed to all the emails I never read.
It informs me of any message from my 5 email addresses and 6 Slack Servers that requires my attention and keeps me organized.

the only non ugly exit from us debt/gdp is nominal growth outrunning interest costs.
ai led innovation (particularly chronic illnesses being addressed + social services becoming efficient) + rise in productivity are the last remaining lever big enough to actually make any sort of dent.
everything else is no longer even an option.

Grok Bot is $300/month, which sounded expensive to me yesterday.
Today I’m wondering if it might actually be cheap. 😂
Someone told me they used it to set up the books for a startup, create the chart of accounts and reconcile 6 months of transactions in about 30 minutes.
Okay. Now you have my attention.
We’re just starting a new family drone business, and this weekend we’re digging into all the pieces to figure out exactly what we’re getting ourselves into.
There will be a website to build, bookkeeping, marketing, and scheduling. All the little things somebody has to spend their time doing.
And that’s where my math changes.
I don’t need Grok Bot to save me $300.
I need it to free up enough of my time to go make more than $300 doing something else.
Now I’m seriously considering pushing the button and finding out what a homesteading, homeschooling mom with no tech background can actually make this little bot do.
Mars 🌿@MarsHomestead· Aug 18, 2026Grok Bot is everywhere on X today and I have one request:
Make it easy enough for the normies. 😂
I’m a homestead mom, not a developer. I don’t want to learn how to build an AI agent. I want to say, “Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish,” have Grok Bot ask me a few questions

Grok Bot has completely broken my brain.
I got an insane amount of work done today.
But I genuinely feel like I did nothing.
Because I barely DID any of it.
I just told my AI team what needed to happen...
and it happened.
This is such a weird new version of work.

Rahul@sairahul1· Aug 19, 2026okay Grok Bot is insane
it can:
- open a computer by itself
- log into all the apps, sites
- use websites like me (human)
- work while you’re asleep
- clean my inbox, reply to support emails
- research news on X, LinkedIn, and Google
- write LinkedIn, X drafts in my style

DJ@congressdj· Aug 19, 2026I am not a coder. I don’t work with CRM or play with spreadsheets. I’m about as removed from a “workflow” in my job as a kid flying a kite. I don’t really use AI beyond a super-Google level.
So when I say Grok Bot is ABSOLUTELY GAME CHANGING, I don’t mean a better search tool. I

Elon basically predicted the next revolution in medicine:
“You can effectively think of the future of medicine as being digital”
Much of traditional drug discovery has involved finding or screening molecules, testing them, and figuring out what they can do
Synthetic RNA starts changing that model
From discovering drugs by accident → programming treatments like software
If we can understand exactly what biological instructions need to be written into RNA, medicine increasingly becomes something we can design for a specific problem
And once we know what to program into synthetic RNA:
“You can basically, cure almost anything”
Medicine is becoming programmable

Elon Musk@elonmusk· Aug 19, 2026Derek Chauvin was unjustly convicted of murder, therefore he should be freed.
The facts show that he was not the cause of death, nor did he at any time intend for a death to occur. Whatever else he may be, he is not a murderer.
That is the truth.
