Big spending Republicans want to explode military budget. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: both parties are to blame for $34T debt! politico.com/live-updates/2…
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · May 30, 2024
Both parties are indeed responsible for excess spending.
It is extremely alarming that interest on national debt now exceeds the Defense Department budget! If this keeps going, the whole budget will be interest.

🇺🇸OZEMPIC COULD BOOST ECONOMY BY $1-TRILLION
Weightloss drugs like Ozempic and GLP-1 could potentially add significant value to the U.S economy.
According to economists, if 60 million Americans take GLP-1 drugs by 2028, GDP could grow by 1%.
Goldman Sachs predicts these drugs

Prop C, while certainly well-intentioned, has actually amplified the homeless problem and forced businesses that operate on very slim margins, like payments companies, to leave the city or go bankrupt.
It must be repealed.
Pirate Wires@PirateWires· May 30, 2024San Francisco’s Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH) has seen a sharp uptick in funding since 2020. Much of the revenue came from 2018's Prop C, a tax targeting SF tech companies.
Voters were assured the measure would reduce homelessness with a minimal impact

Tesla shareholders who voted to approve Elon Musk's compensation package when the company began its development, and now vote against it when he led Tesla to success, achieving all the goals set then, are bags full of crap.

Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic@COVIDSelect· May 29, 2024🚨NEW🚨
Today, @COVIDSelect requested access to Dr. Fauci's personal email account and cellphone records. New evidence suggests that Dr. Fauci used a "secret back channel" to communicate about official COVID-19 information.

Pretty sure I’ve never discussed crypto with Trump, although I am generally in favor of things that shift power from government to the people, which crypto can do

Given current trends, as of today about 7% of the Canadian resident population is now a "Non-Permanent Resident" -- their share of the population has more than tripled since 2016.

I’m very excited to do another Starbase tour with Elon before flight 4! A lot has changed in the last two years and there’s a lot of technical challenges that SpaceX is continuing to solve with the Starship program.
Elon Musk@elonmusk· May 30, 2024@awoooouwuooooo @danpiemont This is a matter of execution, rather than ideas. Unless we make the heat shield relatively heavy, as is the case with our Dragon capsule, where reliability is paramount, we will only discover the weak points by flying.
Right now, we are not resilient to loss of a single tile

Trish "the Dish"@TrishtheSkeptic· May 29, 2024@ChristinaPushaw @MattWalshBlog Indeed.
Also Matt’s advice is wrong - ALWAYS walk into a meeting with a notebook to take notes. Always. You look like an ill prepared rube otherwise.
Also don’t take corporate job advice from Matt Walsh is probably wise too

Do you remember the scandal that erupted at the BYU-Duke volleyball game two years ago?
The whole thing was based on a lie.
We’ve known that for a long time.
But until today, the world has never heard the story of the innocent college student viciously attacked by the woke mob
