One of my daughters was in a bad car accident last weekend. Car is totaled but she walked away. Everyone involved did, thankfully. It was a best case outcome for a serious, multi-vehicle freeway collision.

Perhaps it is generational trauma. Especially with WW1, so many fathers were lost that there was greatly reduced protection for children, leaving them vulnerable to predators.
And, as we saw with Saville, one predator can damage 500 or more children. They won’t stop until they are stopped.
