To add to the confusion, the IRA credit *does* apply to a leased Model 3 long range, which is why the lease price is lower than a Model 3 Performance

Tesla was expecting $3,750 credit for base and long range, but the Biden administration changed the tax credit again, at least 3 times now, and still they haven't finalized anything (ev tax credit). It can change again so I would urge everyone to order now.
