If the Cybertruck explosion was intentional (and I think it was), then using the Cybertruck likely made the attack far less deadly than it would have been in another car because of the strength of the truck’s stainless steel alloy. Seems like this was about creating a visual.

Both this Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo. Perhaps they are linked in some way.

Something odd I’m noticing on @X. On some posts nearly all the comments get labeled as probable spam. In this one only 4 comments out of nearly 100 in 20 minutes got marked as probable spam, including friends and verified accounts. What’s up with this @premium?

We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself.
All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion.
