Turns out with claude code, my decades long strategy of NOT deeply learning:
- regexs
- sql
- nginx confs
- elaborate shell commands
- advanced shell scripting
- any javascript framework
- perf optimization
- webpack, cdns, bundlers
- 1000 other things
...was entirely correct.

Code itself will go away in favor of just making the binary directly.
The next step after that is direct, real-time pixel generation by the neural net.

Deep intellectual satisfaction
Take something everyone says is impossible (building an American TSMC, 100xing US shipbuilding, onshoring solar) and unpack from first principles why it's so hard and what would make it possible.
Every time, you'll find it's far from impossible.

Oh good, Roger Stone is here to clarify that Steve Bannon wasn't dissolving bodies in acid, he was just cooking crystal meth in his jacuzzi.
This is where we are with Bannon now:

Roger Stone@RogerJStoneJr· Feb 10, 2026A receipt where Bannon bought the acid has been recovered. Chemists tell me that the hot tub was most likely used to make crystal meth rather than dissolving his enemies

SpaceX Starship V4 tanker should be ready in 2027 which should reduce the number of tanker refills for lunar missions down to 5 or 6. IF 1200 to 1400 flights out of 10,000 per year were used for lunar missions or refuelings, then this would enable 200 full lunar missions
Elon Musk@elonmusk· Feb 9, 2026@aakashgupta Starship V4 Tanker version will deliver >200 tons of propellant per flight, so more like 5 or 6 tanker flights to refill the lunar transit Starship in orbit.
Shouldn’t be too much of a problem if we’re doing >10k flights/year.

Expand consciousness to the stars to understand the universe.
The limiting factors for discovering new physics are colliders and telescopes, which move at the speed of a committee of governments. That is why I decided against a career in physics, even though I love physics.

The Moon is harder than Mars in many ways: higher radiation, much lower gravity (more bone loss), no atmosphere to harvest carbon.
If we can crack the Moon, Mars becomes an easier problem.
Elon Musk@elonmusk· Feb 8, 2026For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years.
The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to
Elon Musk
