Here's the relevant section of the SpaceX white paper refuting the claim that they won't do Flight Readiness Reviews of Starship HLS launches. It also points out that they have a track record of 130 successful orbital launches, including with crew and vital nat sec satellites.

Exactly. Giga Shanghai makes cars for export in first half of quarter, then cars for far away parts of China, then cars for nearby parts of China.
Net result is a crazy wave of deliveries end of quarter. It is tough on our team, so we’re hoping to reduce the wave in Q4 & Q1.

I just got an actual auto insurance quote in NYC for $500/month for our Model Y. i'm floored.
If that's the best I can find, I can't keep this car.

The regulatory process for approval to offer insurance is extremely slow & complex, varying considerably by state.
Tesla is hoping to offer real-time (based on actual driving history) insurance in Texas next month.
Probably next year before we get approval in New York.

Things I found while looking up other things:
In the USA there are ~180k car fires/year, and ~276M vehicles. Over a 10 year period thats ~1.8M fires, or 0.65% of vehicles on the road.
Tesla has had ~200 fires and 2M vehicles, or 0.01% of all Teslas on the road.
