Nice work by Tesla Energy
Tesla Megapack@Tesla_Megapack· Sep 13, 2024On February 9, a generator in Oahu tripped causing a rapid drop in frequency. Megapacks at Plus Power’s KES facility responded within 250 milliseconds, providing 50 MW of fast power response from grid forming, frequency droop, and fast frequency response (FFR) controls, stopping

In general, we are decoupling public posting from private messaging, so you can use 𝕏 for private messaging only if you want
Engineering@Engineering· Sep 13, 2024We're rolling out a new block option only for DMs. It prevents an account from sending you messages while enabling you to continue to interact with the account in other ways.
This is another step towards our evolution of messaging on X - stay tuned!

Just wow …
Brendan Carr@BrendanCarrFCC· Sep 13, 2024@Jason In 2020, the FCC secured a commitment from Starlink to offer high-speed Internet to 640,000 rural locations for $1,300 per location in federal support.
After revoking that award in 2023, the government is now spending in the ballpark & upwards of $100,000 per location in cases.

Please make it make sense 🫠
@jason@Jason· Sep 13, 2024Our government is corrupt and stealing our money.
United airlines just put Starlink on 1,000+ planes, but the FCC claims we need to spend 5-10k per rural home for wired connections?!?
These homes are putting starlink in on their nickel while they wait for a cable modem in 10

Scientific American has become a social activist magazine and destroyed its credibility.
My companies have succeeded *despite* the government support playing field being tilted heavily to competitors.
Boeing received twice as much as SpaceX for astronaut transport, yet has not brought a single astronaut back!
The FCC illegally rescinded Starlink’s rural broadband winning bid and gave the money to competitors who have failed to make any progress!

DogeDesigner@cb_doge· Sep 13, 2024SpaceX, an American company, just completed the first-ever commercial spacewalk, the farthest from Earth in over 50 years. Yet, no recognition or appreciation from the President.
For Democratic party, politics always comes first, not America.

Starship will make life multiplanetary, preserving life as know from extinction events on Earth, so long as it is not smothered by bureaucracy.
There is more government regulatory smothering every year. If this continues, all large projects in the United States will be illegal.
For example, look at the farcically slow build of the high-speed rail line in California. After spending several billion dollars over many years, there is almost no progress.
The Department of Government Efficiency is the only path to extending life beyond Earth.
