This time, there will be a nation full of witnesses, keeping a close eye on the process.
You should offer whistleblowers, full Amnesty, for coming forward, if thrley do so, before, or during the vote counts.
They're going to try it.

NEWS: Elon Musk’s AI startup @xAI has discussed a deal where it would get some @Tesla revenue in exchange for providing the carmaker access to its technology and resources, the latest example of the growing interconnectedness of Musk’s companies.

Haven’t read the article, but the above is not accurate.
Tesla has learned a lot from discussions with engineers at xAI that have helped accelerate achieving unsupervised FSD, but there is no need to license anything from xAI.
The xAI models are gigantic, containing, in compressed form, most of human knowledge, and couldn’t possibly run on the Tesla vehicle inference computer, nor would we want them to.
The Tesla AI models have incredibly “dense” (in a good way lol) intelligence, as they compress video of reality into driving commands, but must operate on a ~300W computer with memory size and bandwidth far lower than say an H100 GPU.
Tesla real-world AI also has a vastly larger context size than an LLM, as the combined video history from all cameras is several gigabytes in size.

The Orcs are a stand-in for illegal immigrants in the new Lord of the Rings show on Amazon. You're told to feel sorry for them, to sympathize with their plight and vilify their persecutors. They're not actually evil you see, just misunderstood.

Comparison of the SpaceX Starship with other rockets, including the Saturn V which took us to the moon.
Saturn V cost about $1.4 billion per launch in 2022 dollars.
The SpaceX Starship system will be fully reusable and cost a fraction of that, in the tens of millions of $$$.

Elon Musk
@elonmusk · Sep 7, 2024
Max payload to standard Earth reference orbit is actually ~180 tons for Starship when it is fully reusable and ~300 tons if expendable. Latter number is the apples-to-apples number comparing Starship to Saturn V.
>100 tons to the Starlink orbit is the operational spec minimum.

The first Starships to Mars will launch in 2 years when the next Earth-Mars transfer window opens.
These will be uncrewed to test the reliability of landing intact on Mars. If those landings go well, then the first crewed flights to Mars will be in 4 years.
Flight rate will grow exponentially from there, with the goal of building a self-sustaining city in about 20 years. Being multiplanetary will vastly increase the probable lifespan of consciousness, as we will no longer have all our eggs, literally and metabolically, on one planet.
Elon Musk@elonmusk· Sep 7, 2024SpaceX created the first fully reusable rocket stage and, much more importantly, made the reuse economically viable.
Making life multiplanetary is fundamentally a cost per ton to Mars problem.
It currently costs about a billion dollars per ton of useful payload to the surface

Making life multiplanetary is fundamentally a cost per ton to Mars problem.
It currently costs about a billion dollars per ton of useful payload to the surface of Mars. That needs to be improved to $100k/ton to build a self-sustaining city there, so the technology needs to be 10,000 times better. Extremely difficult, but not impossible.
