He is not fleeing because of an IRS audit. Billionaires get audited regularly. Reid Hoffman can have the best tax lawyers in the USA deal with that easily.
The main reason for him to flee the country is Epstein issues, which are well known in his case.

I don’t know SpaceX’s internal numbers, but my guess is they deploy well over 10,000 satellites for this cost - if not twice that.
