How is Raptor Vac development going? Getting closer to the aspirational 380s Isp or still holding at 350s?

Looking good at ~378 sec. Continued improvement will get it over 380.

Awesome detail being tracked here by @artzius. Would indeed be interesting to know if Raptor Boost is still targeting a thrust around 300+ metric tons. 🤔

Current plan is to increase base Raptor thrust to ~230 tons or ~500 million lbs & increase booster engine count to 32 or 33

A “Raptor Boost” engine has been spotted in Boca Chica for the first time. This is a non-gimballing, non-throttling, higher thrust version of Raptor for Super Heavy.

Another trio of Raptors arrived into SpaceX Starbase today, as spotted by Mary (@BocaChicaGal). Included the latest Raptor Boost engines. RB3 even has its own name tag. 😂 Latest overview, including Raptor production cadence.

Haha, FSD 9 beta is shipping soon, I swear! Generalized self-driving is a hard problem, as it requires solving a large part of real-world AI. Didn’t expect it to be so hard, but the difficulty is obvious in retrospect. Nothing has more degrees of freedom than reality.

Friday afternoons are usually Tesla design studio time. Cybertruck will be almost exactly what was shown. We’re adding rear wheel steering, so it can do tight turns & maneuver with high agility. Lot of other great things coming.
